Family Holiday with a toddler and baby

AdvantagesGreat Directrions, Cheap if booked in advance

DisadvantagesCan't think of any

"We went for our first holiday as a family of 4 in June this year. We spent 7 days with Keycamp at there Menhirs site in Normandy. It was FANTASTIC. We booked in October last year and the total cost for ferry and mobile home was in the region of £500. With Keycamp you can choose from a number of 'camping' options. The basic and cheapest being their Canvas tents, the basic mobile home 'Classic Midi', followed by Supernovas and Villa Grande. ..." Read review

AdvantagesExtremely affordable family holidays

DisadvantagesHave to like camping/mobile homes

"Keycamp is a great company for those on a tight budget who still want to get abroad for some summer sun. You must however enjoy the outdoor life as the accomodation offered is either in tents or mobile homes on sites in France, Spain, Italy, Germany and Holland. Don't let this put you off however as the tent accomodation includes fully errected, large tents with proper beds and mattresses, a fridge, gas hob (no oven), electric light, tables, chairs ..." Loire - Parc de Ferbios (Tours)

AdvantagesWell organised, affordable, ideal for children

DisadvantagesMight not be your cup of tea

"First stop the keycamp website - has most of what you need to decide on which site to visit. Our criteria was to visit France with two children (18 months and 4yrs) in September for a week. Must be affordable, enjoyable and warm. We usually go for independant travel. Book the flight and maybe the first night, but then we make it up as we go. The idea of Keycamps did not immediately appeal but we thought it would be easy to entertain the children ..." Read review

Quick review of Key Camp Family Holidays

"I have been on holiday with Keycamp for the past 4 years, for the past 3 years stopping at Houlgate (camping de la vallee) I cannot fault the company or the campsite The holidays are miles cheaper than any other company and just as good.Booking is easy and accurate online and if you need to contact the office for any reason they are faultless. The couriers are 99% great (1or 2 are obviously in the wrong jobs!!!!) The campsite is superb in everyway ,clean, tidy, nice quiet bar and the owners are friendly and helpful. If you want a good company and a good campsite try these!

WOW we all loved it

AdvantagesAffordable, family orientated, kids loved it

Disadvantages3 1/2 drive with no air con , ants

"We booked this family holiday to theVendee region of France about 5 months before we were due to go.Reasons for this were that neither of us had driven on the continent before , also with 2 young boys we didn't know how they or we would cope with them abroad. Booking the hoilday was easy as we knew where we wanted to go . The only draw back is the fact of what I think is a lot of supplements eg if you have a roof rack size of car if you go ..."
