...is on the road to Kinsale and carriers such as aerlingus; fly be; bmi baby; ryan air and ba all make the trip from various regional UK airports and indeed a few European airports too. The closest ferry port to Kinsale which is a 35 minutes drive is that of Ringaskiddy (don’t ya just love Irish place names!) or that of Cork Harbour is close by too. Finally at Cork International Airport the usual car hire people – Avis, Budget or Hertz ...

Review of Kinsale (Ireland)

We have visited Kinsale over many years and enjoy food for which it is rustifiably renowned. However reputations are easily ruined DO NOT GO to Dino's fish restaurant. Billed as "Traditional" fish and chips, it is run by non-irish people and serves what must surely be pre-prepared microwave meals.We sent our 'grilled' sole back, it was the most disgusting fish we had ever tasted, a disgrace to any restaurant, leave alone one in Kinsale. The two small thin pieces of fish were grey, floppy and tasteless, quite old, and I don't think had been near a grill. They were not at all interested and only concerned to make us pay! We refused of course. It is a terrible experience. ...
