The Klein (Little) Karoo, or place of great Dryness as it was called by the indigenous people. Geographically it is a fertile valley (enclosed by the Swartberg, Langeberg and Outeniqua mountains) full of many wonderful rock formations and cave paintings.

Advantages: The attractions and the peace and quietness Disadvantages: The temprature scan get hot!!
...which is very healthy. The Klein Karoo has lots of attractions. The main town is Oudtshoorn and most of the tourism attraction are near it. There's the Kango Caves which is a must to see. Then there are the Highgate and Safari Ostrich farms where you can ride on ostriches. On the way to the Kango caves there's the buffelsdrift game farm where you can walk with elephants and enjoy a nice meal and have a view over the buffelsdrift dam. There are also ...
