Advantages: Great for a different night out Disadvantages: Not great range of food choice
I have been here on four occasions for their Krater comedy night which is downstairs.
It has recently been done up and there is a new entrance in the street down but parellel from the old one. THere are two main places to be entertained and I have been on both of them. They are small and have no windows which can feel a little clostraphobic.
Tickets for the comedy night are £15 and you can book them online which is the cheapest way to get them. ... ...collect the tickets on the door (6pm) so we had a drink in the bar before the doors opened. Drinks are fairly pricey but they do deals such as jugs of beer for £10 (I think thats what it was).
We got the train to Brighton and walked about 10 mins from the station, it was very easy to find from directions on the website, plus we had been before.

Advantages: it's a tardis Disadvantages: none that i can think of
...out i had at the komedia club, i went to see mark little (the one from neighbours and the big breakfast) at his boogie woogie beach bum bar. It was the funniest thing i've ever witnessed at a comedy club and i've seen some funny stand up comedian's in brighton.
the club itself is a tardis, from the outside it looks about the size of a mid terraced town house with two front doors, but as soon as you walk in you notice that it is a lot bigger. It ... ...and all containing their own toilets and more importantly their own bars. the club is brilliantly laid out and you don't get any noise coming from the hard rock gig going on in the adjacent rooms. the facilities are good and all the bars have a good choice of laughter liquiud on tap. As normal the bar prices are a little steep but not astronomic, around £2.60 for a pint and £3.00 for a bottle of beer or alcopop.
