this huge neo classical edifice signifies what can broadly be called the City of paris. this is a region where all the office blocks of the town are situated. at lunch time all the french businessmen and women in their suits flood out into the square and sit in cafes eating and drinking their lazy lunches. it is not a pretty place, but then again not ugly. it has however a lovely atmosphere and should be visited for exactly that reason. there is a ...
