Lanzarote is an island approx 80 miles of the coast of Africa south of Spain and Portugal. The island is 37 miles long and 12 miles wide. It is the fourth largest island of the Canary Islands. Lanzarote is a volcanic island due to eruptions in the 18th and 19th century so it has many amazing caves and features to see. He Island has a very dry climate; the ground is mainly rock and gravel, no grass here, lol !!
