We were travelling to Lyon, having stayed in Paris for one night and were at Gare de Lyon far too early. We were celebrating a milestone birthday and travelling 1st. class so thought it was appropriate to have coffee at the Train Bleu.
We went in and stepped back to a more leisurely time of travel. It is dark wood and leather chairs. Some business people were discussing their affairs, others like were simply travellers. Sinking back we ordered coffee. ...
