    4 Stars More Lego than you can shake a stick at! Review with images 13/05/2011

    Advantages Advantages Good park for children and families, Impressive Lego creations

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Not a very good park for adults without children/teenagers/thrill seekers, Overpriced

    A couple of years ago we visited Legoland, Windsor. We visited in the summer holidays and our daughter was very young (about 16 months). We had an awful time - there were long queues to get in and out of the carpark, we had to queue for a long time to get inside the park, we paid horrendous prices, all of the rides had huge queue times and my daughter was only big enough to get on TWO rides! Recently I decided it was about time we gave it another go (my daughter is now 4 years old) and thankfully our visit was a lot different. Getting There Legoland is located in Windsor, Berkshire. We ... more

    LEGOLAND!!!!!!!!!!! That's all I heard on our hour drive to Windsor! We traded in our Tesco points for some Full Annual Passes. Couldn't be happier with that as I and my older son got in free, the baby was free and the only thing left was to pay for my other half. If any of you have been to Legoland before you will know that normal admission for a family our size is £102! That's £37 per adult and a child at £28. The passes we got through Tesco are brilliant. Normally it would cost £73 for an adult and £55 for a child to get these passes and yet it only cost me £18 worth of Tesco points each. I ... more

    Advantages Advantages Family friendly. Well kept park. Fun rides and attractions for kids. Safety conscious.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages The cost. The extra costs.

    A few weeks ago, I took my family to Legoland in Windsor (Berkshire) for the day. I had been to Legoland a few times about 8 years ago, but this was the first time I had taken my two youngest children and I was keen for them to experience Legoland before they outgrew it's attractions. What is Legoland Windsor and who would enjoy it? Legoland is a theme park that is almost entirely constructed (or looks likes it's almost entirely constructed) of Lego. It is essentially a whole "land" that is made out of lego and has a wide variety of rides, experiences and attractions which are based on the ... more

    Advantages Advantages A nice family day out, fun rides

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Costly ticket prices, Long Ques for Rides. Wasps

    Firstly I will appologise for this being a long one but I feel there is a lot that needs to be covered to make this a thorough review, Legoland is a big place and there is a lot to it so hopefully you wont fall asleep reading. Legoland is a family theme park which is open between the months of mid March and November. Owned by the Merlin entertainment group the park is entirely themed around the much loved and ever so popular toy Lego, now seeing that my four year old son has taken a keen interest in all things Duplo and Lego we thought that this would be the perfect place to take him for the ... more

    Advantages Advantages Interesting, great for younger families

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Long queue times, expensive

    **About and Location** Legoland is situated just outside of Windsor, Berkshire. It is a family orientated theme park primarilly for families with children aged 3-12. It stretches over 150 acres. It is very close to Ascot (around a ten minute drive). It is one hour away from London and 25 minutes from London's Heathrow airport. The park does special deals for those who catch trains which involve a train and shuttle bus to transport you to the park. Legoland is well signposted with the usual brown tourism road signs and is very easy to find. We used our sat nav but found that we came across ... more

    4 Stars Lego Land updated with pictures Review with images 09/09/2005
    User recommends the product

    Advantages Advantages Great day out for all the family, rides not too scarey, easy to park,

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive for a one off trip and long que's in peak season

    For those of you who might not have heard about Lego Land, it's a large theme park built around the famous Lego bricks. As I have frequented this theme park for most of the school summer holidays and the odd weekend , I decided to write a review on this very enjoyable day out. . In the press last year , it was stated that Lego Land in Europe was closing down. This isn't the case for Windsor. Though the website is very vague, I decided to go one better and ask a member of staff what is going on just before the close of last season. I was told that Windsor will continue to re-open for many ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages £££££ - nuff said

    Living, as I do, about ten miles away from Legoland, and having two children, I have had many an occasion to visit the park. Having recently signed up for an annual pass I have been interested to see what's new for 2010, and hope that I can give a few tips from my experience of the park this season, and an idea of whether Legoland is worth the trip. The first thing to say about Legoland is that even compared to other UK theme parks it does get incredibly busy, even on some non-school holiday days the car park can be surprisingly full. If you are going to visit I would strongly advise arriving ... more

    5 Stars Lots of Lego fun at Legoland Windsor Review with images 22/07/2010
    User recommends the product

    Advantages Advantages Lots of attractions, perfect for pre-schoolers and younger primary school age children

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive, lacking in 'white-knuckle' rides, teenagers would probably be bored

    Legoland, Windsor is a Lego-themed park with a wide variety of rides and attractions. The park is designed predominantly for a younger age-group with a suggested age range of 3-12 years making it perfect for a day out with younger children. We have been three times now since our first visit in June 2009 as my nearly five year old son absolutely adores it. I would suggest that it's not worth going with just one child that is under 0.9cm tall as they would be very restricted as to what rides they can go on - we took our 18 month old this week and, although she did get to go on several rides ... more

    ~~~ LEGOLAND Theme Park ~~~ Despite living less than an hour's drive from Legoland and the fact that it opened in 1996, I have to admit that I had never visited the place until earlier this week, when my wife and I took our 2 children there as a 9th birthday treat for our son and as a reward for our 6 year old daughter for managing to get a glowing school report this term. Why had we not visited before ? Well, mostly due to the admission price (more of that later) and partly because I had heard bad reports from colleagues who had been there a few years ago, shortly after the park opened ... more
    It is quite surprising that, since we only live about twenty minutes away from Legoland, Windsor, that yesterday was the first time that we had taken our six and four year old daughters for a visit! I think this was partly because it is quite an expensive place to visit, but also because I didn't want the girls becoming too caught up with all the thrills and spills and being less likely to be content with some less 'exciting' attractions such as our local park! Legoland is on the B3022 Windsor/Ascot road just two miles from Windsor town centre. As I sometimes work in Windsor, I do know that at ... more
