Advantages: None. Disadvantages: I wouldn't know where to start.
...start with the rip off. LEGOLAND like you to think you are getting a bargain so where ever you look during the summer months you’ll find coupons, tokens and corporate discounts on getting in for half price, admit one free etc. Whatever way you go about this, it’s going to cost you about twenty pound each to get in for the average family of four. We bought our tickets via the internet NHS discount site at a cost of about eighty quid for a family of ... ...for their tears or disappointment. LEGOLAND crams thousands of people in and employs inept staff to dither and prolong waiting times. They blatantly rip you off with a ‘so-what?’ attitude, just look at the bewildering q-bot a system where you can pay extra to reduce your queuing times! I can’t understand how this place is still in business. Take your kids to the beach or on a bike ride or something, you’ll save a fortune and they’ll have a far better ...

Advantages: Best UK themepark for kids under 10, enduring appeal of Lego Disadvantages: Queues for rides without entertainment, expensive and unhealthy food, drink and extras
...their imagination run riot.
Legoland is the best UK themepark that we have visited for young children. Highlights are the waterpark area, the play area in Duploland, the theatrical displays and the rides without the massive queues. The model Lego world is also fabulous (but it seems to impress parents more than the kids!).
Lowlights are the massive queues for the popular rides, the unhealthy and expensive food and drinks (a real shame when most ... ...to take a family to Legoland and for those you who are not prepared for a few sulks and moans from their your little ones will come out with a seriously damaged wallet!
In spite of these lowlights. I would absolutely recommend a visit for familes with kids under 10 because:
- the park looks stunning, beautiful scenery and wonderful Lego magic
- the rides (when you finally get on them) are perfect for young kids
- there is an awful lot to pack ...

Advantages: little kids will love it Disadvantages: if you've got a kid aged 14+they may not like itn but give it a go
...shocked when i saw that Legoland only had a 3.5/5 because it is much better i thoroughly engoyed Legoland and have been begging to go again for a while now. I wouldn't recommend only going there for a day your likely to get really tired on the drive home and it is to much to pack in to in 1 day we stayed at a travel inn overnight and went to Legoland two days and even then we were finding parts the we didn't realize were there, we didn't actually ... ...My favourite part at Legoland was the show out on the water which i though was very fun because all the kids could join in but it wasn't pantomine exactly because you all sat around the stage (if you want to call it that but it was out on a lake) and there are these water guns that turn on every now and then in the shopw and you can shoot the baddy which was great for the kids there were also splash zones were if you sat there you would get wet.

Advantages: Lots of good rides and interesting exhibits; fabulous Halloween fireworks Disadvantages: Very crowded if you pick the wrong day to go
Legoland is a fantastic theme park with the added benefit of having so many things made of Lego. While the kids in our group (aged 7 and 9) really enjoyed the rides and other activities, I was fascinated by the seemingly endless variety of Lego creations on display. Apart from Miniworld where so many real buildings had their Lego counterparts, the park is casually dotted with Lego creations each of which is perfect and astounding. My favourites were ... ...lifesize Lego family having a picnic. For the adult it's this sort of thing that is most interesting thought the rides aren't bad either. We visited on the last day it was open last season so the rides were marred by enormous queues. The water based rides were the best really and you should do them first before they get crowded. The driving school didn't look like much fun to us but the kids were delighted - especially with the driving licenses they ...

Advantages: The model village was good. Disadvantages: Long Long Long Queues.
We decided to take our three children (4, 2, & 7months) for a day out to Legoland. Not having any experience on what it was going to be like this is what we found.
Arrived just before 11am, queued for ages, but by using a compination of Airmiles and Nectar points, we were able to get in without paying a penny (saved around £60).
When we got inside there were people selling drink bottles, it was not until later in the day I found out that buy one ... ...later I paid the £5.00 for one of these bottles, and filled it up six or seven times - bargin?
We made the first mistake of the day, not knowing the park, and took the right hand path which took us down to the main park, if we had known we would of taken the left hand path which would of taken us past the model village and straight to Duplo Land, where our girls would have enjoyed all the rides, and been the right size for them. Also there is the ...

Advantages: Its closer than Disneyland Paris! Disadvantages: Expensive, disorganised, long queues,
...disappointed with my visit to Legoland Windsor I should point out that I went in August, which I appreciate was stupid but we have set holidays!
Car Parking
-------------------
There is plenty car parking spaces at the park - the organisation to get you there is a bit lapse and you need to walk across roads or through the car park to get to the gate! Some bad planning there!
Entry
-------
We paid £60 for myself and my husband - my daughter ... ...we are good at, but Legoland have taken it too far - we went on two young children's rides (the little power boats and the balloons - both of which are aimed at the under 5s) and queued the best part of two hours to get on both! The Balloon ride - after waiting nearly an hour to get on - did not even get two circuits and we were off!
Staffing
----------
On the rides - there is limited staffing! In the shops or where they are taking more money ...

Quite frankly its a ciomplete rip off. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS PLACE ON WEEKENDS OR THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS BEACUSE ALL YOU WILL DO IS GET IN A QUEUE AT LEAST AN HOUR FOR EACH RIDE.
It is completely packed on school holidays, the entrance charge is extortionate and the toilets are disgusting.
Anybody who has been to Disneyworld in Florida will know that Orlando is miles cheaper, the weather is miles better and the rides and queue system much much better.
If you want value for money, pull your kids out of school and go - that will ensure you get on everything and it might make the shocking entry price worthwhile. ...

...a family day out to legoland Windsor. We decided to go by train from waterloo as it takes under one hour, also if you get the tickets from the station it is chaeper as you can get the train ticket, shuttle ticket and entry ticket for one set price.
The shuttle stops about five minutes from the station and there is a map in the station of how to get to it. Do plan the time yoiu are going to leave as the last shuttle is about 7pm and trains are about ... ...different parts and it doesn't matter what part you do first, I found it easier to do the bottom and then work our way up. Things to see included the lego village a small town where everything is made out of lego, lego safari where you can spot animals made out of lego, roller coaster rides, shows, cups and saucers, water rides and lot's more. However some rides have age and height restrictions and if your going on water rides or in the pool you ...

Just returned from a terrible weekend at legoland... disorganised doesn't even come close. We have two throughly fed up kids that could not get on more than 3 rides due to ridiculous ques.. we stayed for the fireworks at 6pm and decided to get the kids some thing to eat first at 4.30 only to find the cafe had CLOSED for the fireworks but they told us we could buy chips or sandwiches.. My kids hate chips so out of desperation we had the un child friendly ... ...blt filling... (just a barrow cart selling jacket spuds would have solved this problem) they were also selling those awful processed hot dogs that slide down the middle of a roll (my kids also hate these) but it got worse.. we then found ourselves in a gridlock in the carpark for over 1 and half hrs and then all the way to the M4.. we reluctunately returned as we had a annual pass the next day and having left our hotel in plenty of time 9.15am we ...

...3 - 9 ) visited Legoland in July 2008. The entrance tickets are so overpriced for what you actually get to do once you are in there. The car parks were overflowing - people were parking on the grass and roads and therefore it was probably more than full that day and as such queues were huge and we really didnt get to go on very many rides. Also despite the number of visitors that day some of the rides had signs up to say that they were not running ...
