Lincoln Hotel, Lincoln

I stayed in the Lincoln Hotel the other day for just one night. I have to admit that I didn't spend much time on the premises so my report will be quite brief. When you look at the building from the outside, it makes you wonder what this Soviet-style hotel is doing next to the masterpiece of architecture - Lincoln Cathedral. It looks ridiculous. My husband and I were hoping to be pleasantly surprised by the interior, but there was no surprise there, just a bit of a shock for me. It was so horrendous - so tasteless and so behind the times!
