I knew we'd get round to visiting Linz at some point but when we set out from Newcastle one snowy morning in January bound for our home in Slovenia, I didn't think it was going to be so soon. Having a place in Slovenia is great because we get to enjoy all the good things about that country and, by flying in to cities in neighbouring countries, we also get to see some new places each time we go there; on this occasion, however, we were not planning to visit other places.
