Advantages: Traditional Indian Ingredients, Clothing Stores,Allows you to experience a piece of India Disadvantages: Pushy sellers, pressurised environment,
...get from my holiday.
Little India is a small area of Singapore where the streets have market stalls, small grocers stores and temples, basically it feels like you are in India as you walk around. After studying a tourism map of Singapore I thought it would be great to spend an afternoon walking through little India and learning about their culture.
Through the streets were music stores with traditional hand made instruments, and gorgeous clothing ... ...is my only complaint about little india the aromas and items that are for sale are absolutely divine and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to see such a place and should I return, I know exactly what I am in for and how to deal with it a bit better.
If you are planning a trip to Singapore Little India is a must and there is so much to see in such a small area, the temples are out of this world and it was a pleasure to be able to visit them ...
