Liverpool Echo Arena, Liverpool

The Circus comes to Town I was lucky enough to be taken to the Liverpool Echo Arena last May as a suprise birthday present. We went to see Cirque Du Soleil who were superb. (I will do a seperate review on their amazing company.) I had never been in the Arena before but I have watched it being built as well as the development of the surrounding area, on what was the car park for the Albert Dock. Last night , I went to the Liverpool Echo Arena to see Leona Lewis in concert. I had never visited the arena before and neither had I seen Leona Lewis live before and so it was all a new experience for me. The arena first opened in 2008 and so is fairly new. The arena is situated on the Liverpool Docks , and holds many events including concerts and sport events. The venue can seat over 10,000 people. We drove by car to the arena , and will admit that we did find getting to the arena quite difficult. It is more often than not that I am at a concert, and it is also more often than not that you will find me in Liverpool's spectacular waterfront arena situated in the picturesque Albert Dock. The arena itself is an incredibly modern building with up to date technology to make the concert experience all the more encapsulating, great lighting and sound systems plus huge screens so those at the back or sides of the arena can view the onstage action up close.
