Lloyds No. 1, Printworks, Manchester

Being a student (cheap, obviously hard working and out for those bargains!) I often find myself drawn to drinking establishments in true student fashion. Now as funds can be rather limited, especially as it draws nearer to the end of term, one has to go where one can sample cheap drinks and where better than Lloyds! The building itself is very nice, spacious and well laid-out. Unfortunately I can't comment on the quality of the drinks/food because it wasn't actually possible to order anything. The pub wasn't particularly busy when I went in, indeed me and three friends all managed to walk straight up to the bar, where three bar staff were serving, so it seemed fine up to that point. Me, my two friends and my friends 3 year old daughter had been shopping in manchester city centre on friday afternoon, we decided to goto lloyds,as its cheap and had a sign saying "family friendly" on the front door. My friend took his three year old to the bar, to order her a childs meal. The duty manager told my friend that he couldn't order a chids meal, because he was drunk, depsite the fact my friend wasn't drunk, wasn't acting drunk and wasn't even attempting to order a alcohlic drink.
