I went to the London Aquarium for the first time a few months ago and can't wait to go back. They had the most amazing exhibits i have seen at an Aquarium. Their "touch" section whee you can touch Plaice, crabs, starfish and further on a big tank where you can touch stingray is fabulous. The whole experience is amazing . It's a very big place just near the London Eye. It looks very small but it is massive. I cannot get over the amount of different ...

It is right by the London Eye so directions to it should be okay, or if you use the tube, Westminster is the best stop. You start off by walking in and there is this Ford Ka in the entrance way. We recently visited the London Aquarium with our two year-old daughter. As it was freezing outdoors we wanted to go somewhere warm and somewhere that would keep our daughter's attention. The aquarium proved to be the perfect solution. We managed to avoid the high entrance fees by taking advantage of a 2 for 1 offer that we found when booking train tickets to London. We were quite shocked by what seemed like a fairly high entrance fee but by the end of our visit we thought it was worth every penny. We must have spent a good three hours or so being astounded by the diversity of life that is found in our seas. The aquarium houses a selection of fish and invertebrates from all over the world and they tend to be grouped according to the region that they are found in. ...with my visit to the London Aquarium. there is not a great deal of variety of species - the main attraction appears to be the sharks which are fairly impressive. The only good attraction is the petty tank with the rays which you can stroke. However I feel that they have not made the most of this oppurtunity to allow people to get close to wildlife firsthand. Visitors to London who get the London Pass will be able to enjoy this as one of the many attractions that they can get for a single day pass of around £20.
