Advantages: So much to do in a day Disadvantages: watch out for the monkeys!!!
...should pay a visit to Longleat Safari Park. The park was easy to get to from the A36 or the A361 and was well signposted.
The entrance cost was £16 to visit the all attractions within the grounds however you are not obliged to visit everything on the same day, you can return at any time during the season to visit your remaining attractions. (You can just purchase a Safari ticket for £9 but the chances are you’ll want to visit some of the smaller ...

Advantages: something for all the family Disadvantages: sometimes has parts of it shut
I have been to Longleat twice and found it very enjoyable on both occasions. There is a fantastic safari park section where you can travel in your car or if on foot then by Longleat bus and enjoy scenes of incredible wildlife. There is a tape or cd that they give you as you enter the safari park zones which talks you through the animals you are looking at and provides some information about the natural habitat of the animals which is very helpful. ...

Advantages: lots to see and do, different activites for all ages Disadvantages: can be expensive need to get there early to get it all done
Longleat is more than just a safari park it has many other things to do there as well, and i feel that just spending one day there is a bit of rush to get everything done particularly if you have bought a passport ticket, incidentlyally if you have bought a passport ticket and dont live too far away anything that you havent done can be done on another day providing you keep your passport ticket.
can be quite expensive if you pay for each attraction ...

Advantages: Great day out for all the family Disadvantages: Can be costly if you're a big family. Pack a picnic as the food is dear
...live approx 5 miles from Longleat and have been a number of times. My overall experience of it is excellent.
The safari park is top notch with a wide range of animals eg, giraffes, zebra, camels, lions, tigers to name a few. You can also drive through the monkey enclosure, they sit on your bonnet and you can see them up close(mind your wipers and ariels).
You can feed the deer in the fallow park from the comfort of your car. Then onto pets corner ...

Advantages: great for the family Disadvantages: can be slightly crowded round popular animals
...that my first visit to Longleat was brilliant. I enjoyed going round the safari park, which was much larger than I thought. There was also a wider range of animals than I thought that there would be, including lions, wolves, camels, flamingos and water buffalo. What I also really enjoyed was the fact that you could feed some of the deer on the way round the park, though you had to pay a pound for one cup of food. To go round the whole safari park, ...

Advantages: Lots to see and do Disadvantages: Monkeys could damage your vehicle
I have been to Longleat twice now and will definitely go back again. Unlike some zoos and safari parks which will take a few hours to go round then you are looking for something else to do, longleat is an all day event, there is so much to see and do. On both occasions I have visited I have purchased a passport, they are worth the money if you intend on doing everything, the only downside is that if you want to go back into an attraction, such as ...
