There are parking structures across each terminal. It is advisable for one to park at the correct building to avoid long walks. Rental cars are very convenient too. I've been to LAX many times and have never had a real problem with them. Mostly check in and customer service staff are a great help (Except possibly United). The airport itself is absolutely huge, but not easy to get lost in, because of the signs, monitors and people everywhere! Being a big international airport there is often a wait for planes-this isn't a problem (Except in one of the small domestic hubs) because there are plenty of shops and ...
...King!). There is also a duty free shop, which has good bargains, but cheaper booze can be found outside the airport! Perhaps the best (and I imagine newest) feature of LAX is the great Flyaway bus from LA Union station to the airport (and back) for only $3 each way. This is about a 30-40min trip, so definately value for money! ...
