Advantages: Didn't Find One
Disadvantages: The whole thing from check in to lost luggage.

I flew with Lufthansa last February and have to say it was the worst experience of flying I've ever had. I was flying to Barcelona via Frankfurt and was assured at check-in that my bags would be safely transerred without my having to do anything - mistake number one! Correct that. Wow... I had a trip from Frankfurt to Buenos Aires, non-stop flight in the newest version of LH airplanes. It was a two - level airbus, toilets and crew cabins downstairs. What was the best: it had a lot of space for the feet (I think 90 cm?) in all (!) seats. I had a window seat and a seat right in the middle, and it was both very ok. Disadvantages: The cabin crew

I flew London to Hong Kong via Frankfurt and while it would be wrong of me to condemn the company on one flight, I certainly would never fly long haul with them again. The flight to Frankfurt was fine - punctual and painless while check in was fast and efficient. The connecting flight from there however, was simply awful. I am English and I have been in a realtionship with a German guy for 9 years now. I am always flighing backwards and forwards from Heathrow to Munich every month. When I first started flying frequently I used to get very cheap deals with other top airlines. ...- and I would rate Lufthansa as being one of the best all-round airlines. Firstly, the quality of the cabin crew is exceptional. Always happy to help and very friendly indeed. Secondly, the in-flight catering is above average and is served efficiently and quickly. Finally, the aircraft used always seem to be newish and extremely comfortable. I booked a Lufthansa flight on www.lufthansa.com. Unfortunately for me, Lufthansa issue a code share flight. Naturally, Lufthansa never bothered to indicate codeshare flights anywhere in the purchase. Naturally, Lufthansa never asked me for permission. Disadvantages: not always the cheapest

...a guided tour on the Lufthansa base at Frankfurt, I am convinced, that the German airline is certainly one of the most secure airlines in the World. The service (space, entertainment and food) on board altered greatly between Business and Economy class, but the flight personnel was very polite and helpful.
