Ma Bo Restaurant, Liverpool

When picking a place to eat then hygiene is obviously a big factor, for one you wouldn't eat next to a sewer or a toilet even. Well the Ma Bo is a disgrace to all Chinese restuarants. Situated in Liverpools Chinatown at the top end of Nelson Street this so called restuarant resembles nothing more than a simple soup kitchen. The Ma Bo, yes is a little rough around the edges. I agree, its initial appearence is qustionable. The food however is outstandng, as is the friendliness of the staff, and the atmosphere of the place. I was lucky enough to be taken to the Ma Bo from the age of about 7/8 and now 25 enjoy taking my own little one for a meal to this day. About my little one, she is 3 years old, loves her chinese food, adores Ma Bo, and I can promise you if the place was "dirty" like suggested in the other review, I would not take her there to eat.
