...first stepped foot in a Ma Potters restaurant over ten years ago - there used to be one at Whiteleys in London and I remember dining there with my husband when our daughter was tiny. When we moved to Edinburgh we noticed one at Ocean Terminal but never went in except for a visit to the bar area while my husband was alive, as he preferred to dine at Zizzi's there. Since he died I have been with my daughter a few times and the name of the chain changed ... ...Edinburgh restaurant in 2008. I have visited a few times since then, and now feel able to write a review of the place. ==Location== Potters Bar & Grill is located on the upper floor of Ocean Terminal - and it is ideally located for a pre or post cinema drink as it is very close to the Vue Cinema. Advantages: great service and nice atmposphere Disadvantages: can get busy
...We decided to go to Ma Potters Chargrill which is on the second floor of the centre and is accessible, by escalators, stairs or by the lift.
As you approach the restuarant, which is not behind glass, you get the delicious aromas of the food! MMMMM we thought. We walked into the pleasantly decorated restaurant and within seconds were seated before even reaching the 'Please wait here to be seated' sign. We got a table right next to the window which ... ...is a little area just off the main restaurant where if you would just like a drink you can have one without having to have a meal!
SO if you have Ma Potters near you get in there and try it and tell me how you like it! ...

Advantages: Nice setting, quick service Disadvantages: rubbish food, dirty toilets
...restaurant we decided to try Ma potters in Edinburgh. We were seated very quickly at a nice table by the window overlooking the royal yacht brittania. I orderded the scampi and chips and my wife went for the fish and chips. The food came 20 minutes later but as soon as we saw the plates we knew it was a BIG mistake to come here. There were around 10 undercooked chips on each plate, the mushy peas were like baby food, the fish was tiny and looked ...
