Advantages: Centrally located, great rooms Disadvantages: Bit of a walk for agood choice of restaurants
This is a lovely, friendy hotel. The staff really go out of their way to help you and are always cheerful and friendly. The rooms are spotless and we had a lovely huge bathroom. I didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food. I found it too be much friendlier and more homely than standard business hotels and it has more character than many places I have stayed in London.
There are lots of nice restaurants within a 15-20 minute walk, but ... ...(although there are some bars and restaurants). The hotel is well placed for visiting central London, and if the weather is nice, you can have a lovely stroll along the river side.
We paid approx. £95 per night for a double room (well, my boyfriend's firm did as they were the ones sending him on a course in London!). I personally thought this would be too much to pay myself if I was on a leisure break as I normally stay in cheaper hotels when in ...
