...quite a new attraction at Madame Tussauds New York – which we neglected to enter into. From the website it does sound rather entertaining, promising a “multi-sensory environment with gothic architecture, blasts of bone-chilling wind, and blood curdling screams, all of which are heightened by a cast of live actors lurking behind every corner waiting to scare unsuspecting visitors.”
Adjacent to the biography channel room is a huge white room. They ... ...it does have a few Madame Tussauds-specific items.

When we arrived at the end of the tour, we were really disappointed. In less than an hour we had seen the entire contents of the museum. We shook our heads at the fact that this would normally have cost us over $30 per person, because we did not even feel that it was worth half the price. ...forgot that there was a madame tussauds in New York and it was only on the day before I was due to travel that I decided to have a look on sights to see whilst I was there and when I came across a sightseeing tour that included entry to Madame Tussauds I knew going would be a must.
Brief History:-
In 1761 Marie Grosholz was born who was later known as Madame Tussaud.
In 1770 Marie's Mothers Employer Dr Phillippe Curtius opened an exhibition of ... ...she lived until 1850.
Madame Tussauds New York opened in 2000 and has later expanded in 2004 which now includes many of the features that have been present in the London Madame Tussaud's.

Advantages: Get your picture taken with Barack! Disadvantages: Not worth the money, feels all thrown together
I have never been to Madame Tussauds in London so on my recent trip to New York me and my boyfriend decided the visit the one there as its located at West 42nd Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues, Times Square and we walked past it every day of our trip. We went to the attraction on a Monday and we only had to queue for about 5 minutes to get our tickets, they also have are fast track queues for people who have booked online or had the New York City ... ...following: General admission to Madame Tussauds NY SCREAM Cinema 4D movie featuring Sponge Bob Squarepants Madame Tussauds Story Behind the Scenes On reflection we should have brought the cheaper tickets at $25 as we only saw the waxworks themselves. Advantages: If you like to be scared, startled, look like a fool, you'll do all 3 Disadvantages: They're Not Actually real.
...(yes, a guy, and not Madame herself, who is dead but immortalised forever in the gallery, all 4-foot-nought of her) had a venegeful streak on him at the time. There's some interesting information on people when you walk about (I'll forgive you if you miss out reading about the extensive range of American politicians- my friend poked George Bush in the eye- yes, surprisingly, you can touch and interact with them), but I found it intriguing to learn ... ...problem with visiting a NY Madame Tussauds, I guess, is that you might not know every single one of the featured models!)

Advantages: Good for photos!! Disadvantages: Hard to find.
...always planned to go to Madame Tussauds during our stay in New York as it was in our Tourist guidebook.
We got a cab from our hotel and gave the address,when we hit Times square the traffic was barely moving and as many of the streets are only one way sometimes a a short distance takes a round about cab journey,even when your not being fleeced!So the cab driver informed us where to head and we set off on foot,turns out we weren't far away as it ... ...WHEN?

EXPERIENCE?
We were welcomed into the lift by about the only friendly helpful touristry staff we met in New York,so well done Madame Tussauds!
Then we entered the first hall.Now Madame Tussauds is what it is,they are dummys and they are only ever going to be as exciting as dummys are to you.
