Las Vegas is a city which isn't renowned for preserving it's past. This Hotel/Casino is just a 5 minute walk away from the heart of downtown Vegas. Its one of a small chain and has a much friendlier feel than the bigger hotels on the strip. Don't worry about being stuck downtown (at the end of the strip) because for $5 you can buy a 24 hour pass on the 'Deuce' strip bus to get to everywhere on the strip. The hotel itself is large by European standards with large rooms, some of which have no view to speak of, but are comfortable and clean.
