We booked this flight as part of our package holiday so I am unable to give an exact price for this flight. We paid £860 for our holiday which included ... ...The check in desks for Malaysia airlines opened 3-4 hours before your flight departs. With most long haul flights, you have to check in at least 2 hours before so for anyone who loves doing a bit of duty free shopping, it would be ideal to use Malaysia airlines as you can have 3-4 hours of shopping, knowing your luggage is safely check in. We arrived at the airport 3 hours before our departure and arrived at a very short queue that moved very quickly ...

Advantages: Serves many routes, excellent service and hospitality and beats Singapore hands down! Disadvantages: Has the monopoly on London-KL direct flights so can be quite pricey for this route alone.

...year. Well, I'm originally from Malaysia and each time I go back for a holiday, Malaysia Airlines is ALWAYS the airlines that i'll take.
I've never considered any other airlines, really, and you may all wonder why? I must say, Malaysia Airlines certainly do provide one of the best services so far in my experience (though the only other airlines I've used before are Jet Air, Singapore Airlines and British Airways.)

Malaysia Airlines have flown me between Heathrow and Kuala Lumpur twice a year for the last 8 years and I wouldn't fly with any other airline. Firstly, if you're flying too and from Kuala Lumpur on a regular basis, join the Enrich frequent flyer reward programme. You will soon amass points that can then used for upgrades to business class when you want a real treat. Malaysian custom is to be very polite and hospitable and its no different with Malaysia ... ...many destinations and I rate Malaysia Airlines and by far the very best. Their hospitality is excellent with a genuine effort to consistently go the extra mile for their passengers. If en route to Malaysia I wouldn't fly with anyone else. In eight years we've only experienced one delay (not due to MAS) and this only kept us by 25 minutes. Fly Malaysia Airlines...I highly recommend them. ...

I flew with Malaysia Airlines in October 2006 when I travelled to Borneo. In total, we had 8 flights with Malaysian Airlines as we took part in a few trips and had some internal flights.
We booked our holiday as a package so we did not specifically book this airline, it just came as part of the package.
Check in
The check in desks for Malaysia airlines are open 3-4 hours before departure. I found this quite useful as it allows you to check it ... ...it seemed to me like Malaysia airlines were very organised and that there would not be a delay. As we boarded the plane, we were greeted by a member of staff who asked to see our boarding pass, she then directed us to our seat. Just inside the plane, there were free papers for everyone to take if they wished.

...not cater for children at Malaysia Airlines. We thought this strange but made do. On the return flight there where other children on board. Guess what? They got chidrens meals!!!! Luckily we had bought food this time for our little one at the airport. Disgraceful. Apparently our travel agent had booked the meals (Another review of them to come - Travelmood) but Malasia had not implemented the booking. Shoddy. Appart from that they where very tasty.

Top Tips- 1. Confirm your seat for internal flights a day or two before departure. We got the rep to do it for us after the first debacle. Its not like the U.K. where you just rock up and on you go. Seats are allocated.
2. If traveling with children ensure before departure that they are going to provide a meal for them especially if they are as fussy as mine!

...to fly business class with Malaysia Airline. That was last November, I and my husband went back home in Kuala Lumpur from Perth city. We bought very cheap economic class ticket (on promotion at that time). We did not think we would fly business class. When we were at the airport, my husband suggested me to upgrade to business class, because he saw me so tired and that flight was a night flight. I was a bit worried about the money, and we decided ... ...fly a business class with Malaysia Airline, especially if you take a night flight.
- The seat you can make straight like a bed with massage machine from top to bottom. This one I love the most; it gave me a deep and straight sleep.
- The food is great. As soon as you reach your seat, the air hottest will bring some fruit juice for you, and a snack after the flight take off with chicken skewer and satay sauce. There are more food for you to choose, ...
