Disadvantages: Poor staff - hyatt gold passport membership ignored

Decided to travel around California staying with either Hyatt or Hilton (am a Diamond Hyatt member & Gold Hilton member). Booking On booking our stay via the internet (hyatt.com) - we reserved a standard room with a kings size bed. Decided to contact customer services explaining our requirements in advance (due to allergies).
