I have used manchester airport over many years both on long and short haul. Getting there and finding my way round has always been very easy because it is so well signed.

Advantages: Easy access from motorway,clean and helpful staff
Disadvantages: none

I have used Manchester airport for the last seven trips abroad.The booking in hall is large and is very easy to find your check-in desk.Terminal 2 is the charter flight (holiday) terminal.Clean and tidy with foood and drinks being inexpensive (makes a change). I have never been delayed for take-off yet, dispite flying with different airlines,the cause is usualy holiday makers who dont watch the departure board for the flight boarding.The arrivals ... MANCHESTER AIRPORT if anyone is planning a trip to europe international or even just in uk manchester is the airport. Manchester Airport is a quality airport, useful, interesting, fun, entertaining etc . . . . I could go on for hours. A very clean airport with many, many facilities. A great way to look at the future in air travel. Only one problem that I can see, that is the customs. They are never there ! ! ! How can you run a country, without C&E ? ? ...fly year after year from Manchester and although i live nearer to Liverpool id still choose manchester as Liverpool Airport is S**T. We always fly with ThomsonFly from Terminal 2 but i have had use of the other terminals using Monarch, Thomas Cook and British Airways. The other airlines using terminal 2 are Virgin, First Choice, Alitalia, PIA, Emirates, Air Europa, Jet 2 and many more, Termianl 2 is by far the best out of the three terminals here ... Read review

...this one. My opinion on Manchester Airport is that it should cater for international purposes rather than just domestic. The standards of international airports such as KLIA, Changi are really much more advance than this airport, more choice of shops as well. ...when we landed in manchester the trolley was first off and then 3 cases followed and we waited an hour for the last case. This was similar with alot of other people as well. what amazed me was that the trolley was checked in seperately and my cases were checked in together. we was dead chuffed when the cases come off till we realised that one case was delayed because the bagage handlers had run out of trolleys to transport our cases? obviously we ... We have seen Manchester Airport grow and grow over the last number of years. Its recent addition of runway 2, has caused some great concern, especially with the ligths not working, so planes could not use it at night, but it is a major hub therefore it needs to expand. Over the past decade, Manchester airport has gone from strength to strength. Unlike a lot of airports around the world Manchester is not a maze. Two terminals clearly divide departures both of which are easy to find your way around.
