...mile and a half from Manchester City centre stands Manchester Outlet Mall. Ooh, just saying those words seriously lightens my wallet. On October 18th it opens its doors to the public for the first time, my credit card and I will be at the front of the queue to get in. (Once I’ve been I’ll update any fellow shopaholics)
The mall is just a small (but highly significant!) part of an expansive development including the Lowry theatre, offices, ... ...Shops: From day one, Manchester Outlet Mall will have to compete with its older neighbour, Cheshire Oaks at Ellesmere Port. The Manchester Outlet Mall aims to corner the market in the sale of end of the line/ last season’s clothing, giving us up to a 70% discount. I don’t have a confirmed list of all the stores yet, but here is are a few of those that I know you will find:

Advantages: Location, variety of shops Disadvantages: It overlooks Old Trafford!
The new Manchester outlet shopping mall is due to open in October. It is situated immediately next to the new Lowry Centre on Salford Quays and is expected to be Manchester's answer to Cheshire Oaks at Ellesmere Port. The mall will have upwards of 150 outlets and the likes of M&S and Boots will ensure a high profile. There will be a 7 screen Warner Cinema, a food-court with the likes of Harry Ramsdens, Yang Sing and all the other usual suspects, ...
