Advantages: Sun, Busy life, sofistication, beach, beautiful people
Disadvantages: Expensive plane ticket

...in South America, and here's Mar del Plata a combination of a very sophisticated city (lively nightlife, restaurant, clubs, casinos) with very beautiful beaches. Travelling to Argentina a couple of years ago would have been extremely expensive, but now, after some political problems it is really convenient as the currency has dropped to very low levels making it a very interesting destination.
