...over-run with hotels, but the Marriott stands out, looking, at first glance, like a modern set of offices on a thrown together industrial estate. On this note I just had to share some comments from an article written in the observer
“Bath Road is a soulless strip of dual carriageway en route to Heathrow lined with airport hotels which look like they have been constructed from Duplo by an unimaginative five-year-old. The Heathrow Marriott stands ... ...and outside.
In reality, I believe the hotel deserves 4½ stars, but only giving it 4 thanks to Ciao’s limitations.

Advantages: Lovely big rooms and massive beds!! Disadvantages: Restuarant food is good but a bit pricey
This hotel is located no more than 10mins from Heathrow airport but more like 1 hour to get into central London (depending on time of day etc) The rooms are large and of a good spec. The king sized beds are great with more pillows than i have ever seen! They are finishing of the refurb of the hotel at the moment (all floors except the 5th have now been done). There is a small but well equipped gym, a 16m pool with is nice to paddle around in but ... ...it really hot in there so found it hard to breath on occasions. There is also a steam room and sauna there. Restuarants: 2 proper ones and the bar restuarant. The american one is ribs, steaks and burgers. Food quality is good but it is typically very expensive - £17 for a rump steak is a bit steep in my opinion - coupled with a £5 glass of house wine! The Italian is good food again but again expensive for what you get. The staff at this hotel are ...
