Advantages: Excellent menu and wines Disadvantages: I am still trying to think of some a week later, except possible wheelchair access issue.

On this particular evenng a family function at Martini Restaurant to celebrate the 18th birthday of my neice provided the oportunity to test their dishes again. I was meeting 20 other family members (age ranges from 9 – 68years) at the restaurant I was the first one to arrive and a little nervous about entering ...

Advantages: Good, family atmosphere, tasty food Disadvantages: Not the cheapest eatery in town
...into one short day's visit. Martini sprang to mind as a relaxed, family oriented restaurant, serving the quality of food we were looking for. We had eaten there twice before. The first time my husband and I had something of a "last supper" there. We ate our last meal out as a childless couple at Martini, the day before I went into labour with our daughter. We don't think it was the garlic and chilli king prawns which brought things on, but the midwives ... ...Price wise I wouldn't call Martini cheap. Pasta dishes average about £9 and the fish and meat dishes range from about £11 to £16. However, the food is good. We all plumped for pasta, except my 2 children, who shared a pizza. The pizza had to be cut in half as one wanted just a margarita and the other wanted goat's cheese and olives! The olives didn't actually materialise, but the goat's cheese was liberally scattered, so she was happy. The pasta ...

Advantages: It's central location Disadvantages: The food, the service.
Cafe Martini may have been decent before it changed hand some years ago, and although some people clearly enjoy this restaurant I have very little to say about it that's actually good. I went there for my sister's birthday with my family. Obviously what was supposed to be a great evening. Unfortunately we could not enjoy Cafe Martini. Mostly because the service was indifferent and cold and the food came the same way - two meals were actually frozen ... ...meals taste good, but when you think that some of the menu is just dethawed before being served, compared to a number of Italian restaurants in Bath who cook mostly from scratch, this simply isn't good enough. Bath's Italiant restaurant standards are high, but Cafe Martini just doesn't cut it. ...

Quick review of Martini Restaurant, Bath, England
We frequent this establisment often, and have never been disappointed. The staff are attentive and funny, and if it's not too busy, they may even come and sing at your table!! Food is great, we have to find an Italian restaurant outside of Italy that surpasses this one! Tips: if not on the menu, try a 'marsala wine with cantuccini biscuits' for dessert, or an 'amaro averna' with your coffee afterwards - a real treat!! ...

Advantages: The front door Disadvantages: The rest of the restaurant, the food and the staff
We tried this restaurant as some reviews looked good, but. The food was warm, the staff extremely rude. If you don't like it tough there is the door but pay the bill or we will throw you out! The toilets were filthy beyond belief with no soap or paper and wont mention the state of the toilets. T get to the toilets you have to pass the kitchen and can only say that they looked a bit like the toilets. The desert was served as a home made product freshly ... ...to the table as well as your glass and the cutlery was replaced three times before a clean set was found. We left this restaurant refusing to pay for the food but agreed to pay for the wine. We were threatened not with the police but the family. We had to call the police to tell them! clients beware. ...
