If you want to transport yourself back in time and enjoy the luxury of a palace with the most spectacular views of the pyramids, choose the Mena House Oberoi. The hotel has hosted royalty...and me (so it does let us mere mortals in too!). It is split in two wings, the Palace wing and more modern Garden wing. The Garden wing rooms are cheaper but still very well furnished with elegant bathrooms and balconies. The Garden wing rooms are split into pyramid view and garden view.
