Disadvantages: Situated on a tall hill, if you are walking.

The hotel concierge told me that I could walk to the KL Tower, but as it was a hot, sticky day I chose to grab a taxi and was very glad I did as the tower is on top of a very steep hill. You can't really see this from ground level in the city, only when you get close. The tower has a forest area around it called Bukit Nanas Reserve and there was a sign saying that you could visit free nature trails and see monkeys around the area, but I didn't have ... We absolutely loved it here! We had dinner here on our last night in KL. It was part of a tour organised by our hotel, but I think most of the travel agents can book this for you. It's usually fully booked, so definitely worth pre-booking before you leave for KL.
