Introduction: I heard of Merline Annual Pass from the Tesco clubcard deals and friends. From our friends' past experience, it is very good value for money as you can jump the queues to some major attractions in London such as the London Eye. Without the pass, you may queue for hours. Based on our friends recommendation I took the plunge for our family. How much does it cost? Gate price Online Renewal Individual £150 £120 £100 Family of 3 £330 £264 £225 Family of 4 £400 £320 £300 Family of 5 £480 £384 £375 Disabled (including complimentary Carer Pass) £150 £120 £100 I have used Tesco's Clubcard ... more

Advantages Advantages Brilliant value for money, visit all the UK's top attractions.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Restrictions... (this doesn't bother me).

Merlin Annual Pass I found out about the Merlin Annual Pass when I was at Legoland Windsor with my mum. We were going there to renew our Legoland Windsor "Restricted Pass"s. But to our surprise, the team member said they were restricting it even more. We couldn't visit in the August bank holidays, half term, or any of the popular no-school days. Then the member of staff told us about the Merlin Annual Pass. (I already knew about this.) So me and my mum decided to get them. (My dad got one a few days after). What does it do? Advantages Advantages Family entertained for the best attractions and the best value.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Some restrictions apply, check the website before you buy and get the right pass for you.

We live in the Midlands and are an hour away from Alton Towers. We find ourselves going there most weekends, not only is it a great day out, the kids are entertained and we don't spend anything apart ... more
