The Merrion is situated in the centre of Dublin and not very hard to find. It is at the top end of Upper Merrion Street on the right just past the Government buildings that are the home of the Irish Parliament.

I spent three nights here last Valentines having eaten in The Cellar resturaunt on a previous visit to Dublin. This time we ate in The Patrick Guilbaud - a two michelin starred resturaunt also inside the hotel. We had lunch on Valentines day and it was absolutely fantastic, the service was second to none, as it is in the rest of the hotel, nobody can do enough for you cleaners stop to open doors for you, and the desk and bar staff are brilliant.
