Millennium Bailey's Hotel, London

This hotel was a mixed bag. I stayed with a colleague for business purposes. We stayed for one night, mid-week on April 7th 2008. I stayed in a room on the second floor and my colleague was on the first floor. On the plus side - If you want a hotel close to a tube station, this is perfect. Gloucester Rd was right opposite, 100yds. It was also close to South Kensington which was one stop away on the tube and very nice for shopping. The double glazing ...
...from the street. Unfortunately my window wouldn't open, it was broken. I didn't report this so just had to live with it. I booked two single rooms for myself and a colleague, we both got double rooms, which were spacious. The bed was comfortable, linen clean, water hot and the bathroom was clean. The television in the room was very good, lots of channels, new and in working order. I got an extremely reasonable tariff, £107 for Dinner, bed and breakfast ...

I have stayed at this Hotel twice now..and would not consider staying anywhere else when I travel to London! Absolute luxury on each occasion - the first time I booked via lastminute.com..2nd time directly with hotel which turned out a cheaper option as they have weekend offers with fabulous breakfast!! We stayed for a few nights and had a great time-the hotel staff were so friendly and a birthday gift was waiting for my daughter in our room!!! The beds are really comfy-location perfect with a tube right outside(no noise)..know not all rooms are alike in hotels..but both times we have had excellent large rooms.Luggage can be stored once you have checked out -a great hotel..a real treat! ...

I have stayed at the Millenium Baileys Hotel in Kensington, London a few times, courtesey of offers on www.lastminute.com The hotel is 4*** and in a prime location in Kensington, directly opposite Gloucester Road tube station.
