Advantages: Great for shopping, Great generally Disadvantages: If your over 30, you might get a little bored, but there is a lot of walking/cycling to do!
Milton Keynes is one of the fastest growing places, not only in population, but in things to do. Milton Keynes is not a city, as some people seem to think, it has not yet achieved that. I have lived here all of my life, and I do think that Milton Keynes is a place for 'my generation'. I am 16, and I love Milton KEynes. There is a lot for me to do, from Bowling to Cinema to Cycling, there is plenty to offer. We have a fantastic shopping centre with ... ...theme park and loads more. Milton Keynes is a 'teenagers dream' especially if you have a bit of cash to spend. If you were coming to Milton Keynes for a daytrip, I would reccommend you bring £200 or so, espically if you want to do some serious bargain shopping. You really do need a lot of money to come here, or you will find yourself very bored. If you are moving to Milton Keynes or thinking of moving here, then thats great, I am sure you will enjoy ...

Advantages: Large - lots to offer Disadvantages: Same attractions as in any big town and largely unsightly
Milton Keynes, the concrete jungle of Buckinghamshire, is one of the fabled New Towns that were conceptualized last century and started to materialize in the 1960s. Really, it simply serves as a centre for the surrounding villages, which have some interesting histories of their own. Many of the residents live in such an area, like Woughton-on-the-Green, or Woughton Park, and despite the reputation that the town itself has for its concrete cows, such ...

...what can I say about Milton Keynes. Well Milton keynes is just the best ever place to shop but maybe apart from london. Milton keynes has so much things you can do apart from shopping even though they do have 100's of shops to shop or just look. Well as for shopping you have the big shopping centre there, in which you have shops for everyone. For women you have republic, jane norman, krisp, next, bhs, m&s, international, west-one, and other small ... ...phones, make-up ect. Milton keynes also has many clubs and pubs which suit everyones needs. And I guess if you want you good try and bit of ice skating then go on the binge or the cinema or even all three as Milton keynes just suits what ever you want to do. Also along with these you got 100's of cafes and resturants what ever you want to eat. On dooyoo as the same name as well ...

...in the city centre of Milton Keynes is closing down. But that isn’t the problem, they’re too expensive anyway. The problem is that it has been closing down for at least a year now, you can not miss the signs out side, “Closing down sale, everything must go”,” Not much time left now”. Not much has actually been reduced, it’s all new stuff every time I go there. Isn’t it all just a blatant lie? Is that legal? ...

Advantages: Very good for children Disadvantages: Not much of a "heart" to Milton Keynes - although getting there
I have lived in Milton Keynes now on and off all my life.
When asked where I live, invariably when told it's Milton Keynes you get the "Isn't that the place with the Concrete Cows and loads of roundabouts?"
On that point I can not lie. There are indeed concrete cows (yes they do exist!) and there are so many roundabouts the sides of the tyres on my car wear away at an alarming rate!
To its credit though, Milton Keynes is finally starting to "grow ...

Milton Keynes is often thought of as a concrete town with no individuality. However all the people that live in Milton Keynes see it as much much more. It is a haven of concrete, with paths to evrywhere and the roundabouts are seen as pleasant breakups to the roads. You see peole i Milton KEynes tend to be mor epositive than outsiders. Now even more is being added: clubs, pubs bars and a new ski slope complex that boasts a cinema along with climbing ...

Mil-ton key-nes is a city built by ro-bots. It is big and sterile. It has shops. It is windy cos the roads are straight. The buildings are big boxes. It is very seventies. There is a big cinema. There is a big railway station. Superman was filmed here. The people are very strange. The Open University lives here. It is grim. I don't like it. You can get lost very easily. It needs more trees and less concrete cows. There are lots of roads. There is ...

Advantages: You can leave Disadvantages: No soul, expensive etc
...first, if you like roundabouts Milton Keynes is the place to be it has hundreds. The place is laid out in a regular grid system and everywhere looks the same. The only interesting place to visit is the unique concrete cows. To get about a car is essential, as the bus service is terrible and expensive and getting a taxi especially late a night is next to impossible. The pubs are almost exclusively of the large theme pub variety and are expensive even ... ...be quite expensive. Firms are always looking for staff based in Milton Keynes this is probably due to the expense and it's reputation. Someone told me that seagulls fly upside down over Milton Keynes and I must say that after living there I have to say I agree with them. ...
