Advantages: Cheap, no thrills flight!
Disadvantages: Very cramped, staff too busy to be helpful

We flew with Monarch Airlines in mid October from Gatwick to Malaga in Spain. The flight was at a cheap budget price. My girlfriend and I were separated and were seated on the same row but on the aisle on the other side. The plane seemed to be clean but the aisles are tiny, rows of seating so close that can barely have meal tray down. Wing seats cost more, which I found very disappointing. Advantages: cheap, decent movies
Disadvantages: look tacky!

...worried at first as the Monarch airlines logos and image looked VERY cheap. My fears were soon lost when we boarded a very new (A330?) plane to Florida. I hadnt been on a plane for a LONG time, and it was a bit of a new experience. The staff seemed very eager to please, and sorted out any problems people had on the flight. Advantages: good food
Disadvantages: bad entertainment

I have to say flying if on a long flight it has got to be comfortable. I was gonig to Turkey and the people infront were so noisy and kept putting the seat back and I told the stuardess but she did nothing to stop them. The entertainment I have to say was poor, Friends was on so I bought the headphones but after that no films came on and it was a 4hour flight and some people I know have been on a 2 hour flight and gotten a film. Disadvantages: no meals that I paid for, bad service, plane was cramped

...had a to fly with Monarch to get there. The plane was cramped and it seemed that they fit there as many passengers as they physically could. On the way to Tunisia the food was awful and they did not have vegetarian meals, so some people ended up eating bread only. All drinks had to be purchased separatly. Disadvantages: planes very small, staff not very friendly poor service

...Newcastle Uk to Sanford, Florida. Monarch were the only airline to fly from newcastle to florida and with newcastle being only 20mins from me its seemed the obvious choose.
