Monarch Airlines

Flew with Monarch Airlines from Manchester to Sanford Florida. Never will we fly with them again. Problems: Food unacceptable, poor, small portions and who wants cornflakes on a flight? Seat size - very poor indeed! Service - instances of staff banging over head lockers, poor service generally! Wife has poor circulation in legs (airline informed) refused her slightly better seats despite them being empty all the return flight unless she paid for ...
...more interested in selling food and drink or charging £2.50 to HIRE cheap headset to watch poor quality screens, not the sort of service I expected from what in my opinion used to be one of the more excellent carriers - I had used them many times in the past. ...had a to fly with Monarch to get there. The plane was cramped and it seemed that they fit there as many passengers as they physically could. On the way to Tunisia the food was awful and they did not have vegetarian meals, so some people ended up eating bread only. All drinks had to be purchased separatly. We paid for the premium upgrade to Kenya and it was a disgrace. The flight was late leaving Manchester and the crew who were leaving the flight in Paris virtually threw our breakfast at us. The plane was dirty, we had no extra leg room, there was no priority check in or boarding. the welcome on board drink was a plastic tub of orange juice. The choice of wines was red or white! we were visited throughout the flight by people from economy who managed ...

...Newcastle Uk to Sanford, Florida. Monarch were the only airline to fly from newcastle to florida and with newcastle being only 20mins from me its seemed the obvious choose.
