Advantages: Great Parks Disadvantages: Niave Tourists
...to push my thoughts onto Nakuru itself, the city of Nakuru.
Here we have a city trying to play big, in the day time, it beholds street sellers and street children alike, at night, it beholds night clubs / brothels and again, street children.
I would rather divert my thoughts onto things that matter, rather than those that dont.
There is a large community of children who live on the streets all over Kenya, and Nakuru has its fair share. These children ... ...bodies for money, and sometimes food, which is rather appauling.
My Kenyan guide explained to me that these children were unwanted by their families so ran away so they diddnt need to go to school anymore, well, it must be the childrens fault, here lies the first problem, the Kenyan Niavety, obviously this isnt the whole population.
Lacking from adequate sewage disposal, the streets are littered with extrement, and the smell that accompanies it ...

...just great!! I went to Nakuru which is I think the 4th biggest city in Kenya. The National park was massive and you could not compare it to going to a zoo. I saw many different wild animals such as lions and small cubs, rhinos, giraffes, zebras and many more. I took many priceless pictures and the scenery was breathtaking. This was my first time to see these animals in their natural habitat and it was one of those moments that you will never forget. ... ...away now. in Nakuru there are many shops where you can purchase ornaments and goods at very good prices. most people speak good english not fluent though, speking slowly helps them to understand your needs even better. Overall if you’re wishing to visit Kenya then I advise you to go to Nakuru, its awesome I guarantee you will enjoy it. Any questions please ask. Thanks ...

...Kenyan.
I have been to nakuru several times. Its a small city...nothing really to do there. There is Nakuru National Park there. I went camping there with some friends. Advice is don't mess around with the baboons in the park. They ripped off my tent, scratched my car and were almost ready to bite me. This was all because of them seeing the food we had. So don't leave your food outside for them to see it. Always pack it and put it back into your ...

Advantages: MAGNIFICENT SIGHTS Disadvantages: THE FLIES!!
WE ARRIVED A LITTLE HOT BUT EXCITED AT THE LAKESIDE AND OUR GUIDE POINTED OUT THE EXPANSE OF PINK WATER. IT TOOK A WHILE FOR US TO REALISE THAT THEY WERE, IN FACT FLAMINGOES; THEY ROSE EN MASSE AND THE SOUNDS OF THEIR WINGS BEATING SOUNDED RATHER LIKE THE BLADES OF A HELICOPTER!! SURROUNDED BY BREATHTAKING SCENERY, THIS IS A PLACE ME AND MY FAMILY WOULD CERTAINLY TRAVEL TO AGAIN FOR A LITTLE PIECE OF ORNITHOLOGICAL HEAVEN. IT WAS REASONABLY PRICED, ... ...STILLNESS AND COLOURS OF THE SCENERY WERE INCREDIBLE.
IF YOU NEVER DO ANYTHING ELSE IN YOUR LIFE, GO HERE AND CELEBRATE THE JOY AND DIVERSITY OF UNSPOILT NATURE IN ALL ITS GLORY.
MY ELDEST SON WAS ONLY EIGHT YEARS OLD AT THE TIME AND HE STILL TALKS ABOUT THE MAGIC OF IT THIRTEEN YEARS LATER!! ...
