Advantages: Great reps and great holiday overall Disadvantages: poor nightlife in low season
Ive just come back from a week on the surf,sail and ride holiday by Neilson. The week was spent in Bitez bay which is near Bodrum.
The idea of these holidays is that you stay in local accommodation of a good standard and spend your days doing any number of things. They include tuition for windsurfing and dingy sailing and offer guided bike rides and free mountain bikes any time. All this is included in the price.
Weather - Perfect sunny days 6 ... ...winds in the morning but getting breezy by the afternoon.
LOCATION - BItez
This particular resort was the one i felt best suited my abilities as a beginner windsurfer and novice mountain biker.
We stayed in Bitez bay in Turkey which is around 6 miles from the centre of Bodrum and about 2 miles away from Gumbet. I can honestly say that it was a fantastic place to spend a week. The scenery is amazing as the whole place is just one big postcard. ...

We travelled twice with Neilson last year both times to Lemnos, one of the Greek Islands. Our first trip was June, second in September. Both times we had an absolutely fantastic time. The activities are all extremely well organised and the staff that run/teach are all extremely competent with huge amounts of energy and enthusiasm about their chosen sport. We learnt to Scuba dive the first time and completed our Advanced Diver's cours on our second ... ...The only sport that was payable was the diving, everything else was included within our package. We had with us our 3 year old daughter who went into kids club most days. The kids club staff are all fantastic, the children do different activities daily, including kayaking, grass skiing etc. My daughter had an absolutely fantastic time and although I was at first reluctant to put her into the kids club I was so glad I did. Advantages: all levels,expertise Disadvantages: Not all Neilson
...an early booking discount from neilson and an extra 5% off a travel agent we found who we previously booked our Mark Warner holiday through www.traveclubelite.com I was also speaking to a family and she was disappointed as she left it late,paid more and the club for her 8 year old was booked up.Will use Neilsons again but wont go half team week! ...
