Advantages: Central location, comfortable, courteous staff :) Disadvantages: I can'twrite any or I'll get the sack!
OK so this is my first opinion in a long time so if I just pull out my rusty old keyboard, put on my thick skin and get my thinking-cap on, then I'll begin.
I started working as an employee at the Hilton about a week ago (which I'm quite surprised at seeing I threw up all over their front porch after one or five too many pints at their Christmas party three months before) so maybe I have more of an insight than you may normally get.
I've never ... ...rooms (if that's what you want to know I suggest you read MelNorthernLine's excellent op) but I work in Banqueting as a waiter so I can comment on the food, the décor, and the friendliness of staff (especially the young new waiter who works in Banqueting, he's very courtious and polite) and I have a fair understanding of the prices. The Hilton Bradford is a modern Hotel with all the facilities one would expect in such an establishment.
The reception ...

Advantages: Very centrally located, & very modern. Disadvantages: Small portions on the meals & quite pricy, although not really majorly overpriced for a Hilton.
I stayed in this hotel in October 2000, and had a very pleasant stay. I had a special weekend rate that I saw advertised over the internet, for around £60 for a twin room, so it was cheap enough.
We checked in around 5pm, although I think you could check in from around 2pm. The check in staff were particularly helpful & pleasant. The rooms were very nice. Nice furniture etc, & very clean. They were a bit small, but were spacious enough. Taxi's etc ... ...time. We had room service which is available 24 hours. The prices werent overpriced for a hotel, & the food was very nice, but extremely small portions. It's very conveniently located in the centre of Bradford. The main train, bus & coach station is just behind the hotel, & it overlooks the Town Hall. St. Georges Hall is just across the road, & the alhambra theatre is about a 10 min walk. Theres a pay & display car park joined on to the hotel, so ...

Advantages: Great weekend rates, first class hotel. Disadvantages: Rennovation work downstairs.
First of all, if you are thinking of visiting this hotel, get a copy of the Hilton leisure brochure. Summer 2002 rates start at £24 each B&B- 2 sharing- which is an absolute bargain.
Very central, just in front of Bradford Interchange Station. Driving into the town is fairly easy, but watch the one way system. You park in the NCP car park next door, chargable at £2.50 night or £5.00 day with discount tickets from the hotel.
Front rooms overlook ... ...only moan is the clock striking each hour. Rear rooms are quieter.
All rooms are well furnished, very clean and very comfortable. Great bathrooms! You can get a "club room" for an extra fee with booking which gives you a better room with extras; or for a bit more still an "Executive Suite". I would ask for a room higher up, as the views are better.
Breakfast is superb- a buffet of everything you can think of; continental and cooked. Well worth ...
