The North Laine is very easy to reach, when exiting Brighton Station, go onto the road that goes under the station forecourt (Trafalgar St), just go down the street a little and you will be in the North Laine. This is quite a large shopping area, comprising Trafalgar St, Sydney St, Kensington Gardens, Bond and one other street the name of which I have forgotten.

...visiting Brighton this summer, the north lanes are a must for shopping, eating and drinking.
Its easy to reach the north lanes, they're just down the road from Brighton train station, about a 5 minute walk. At first, they dont look like much, but as you wander further in, you see more and more shops, restaurants and cafes. This is The Brighton Camden where one can buy different clothes like retro and all sorts for the goth looks. ITs a great place for people from London but I wouldn't recommend it to those aged over 50, this place with the brightly colours and bong shops, could very well give them a heart attack.
