...trumps 99.99% of the time.
"El Nou Estadi del Futbol Club Barcelona", affectionately known by the Catalan nickname of "Camp Nou", is the current home of FC Barcelona. The venue for numerous glorious footballing moments since its inauguration in 1957, the famous stadium undoubtedly contains the most revered blades of grass in Catalonia, and a comprehensive list of the sporting greats who have graced it would be very long indeed. The fiery Catalan ...

...Road (that is THE greatest!)…..The Nou Cap. Technically called "El Nou Estadi del Futbol Club Barcelona", it is the home of European Champions FC Barcelona. I was lucky enough to have a tour of the stadium, and see their first game as defending champions against Levski Sofia…the score was 5-0….
*** The stadium ***
FC Barcelona was founded in the late 19th century, and occupied several stadia around the city before moving to the Nou Camp in September ...

Advantages: great value for money and loads to see Disadvantages: none really
...rude not to visit the Nou Camp, home of Barcelona FC of the spanish football league. It is the largest stadium in Europe with a capacity of 98,772 - almost 10,000 more seats than the newly opened wembley stadium which cost £778million to build! It seems they're not satisfied with the current capacity as I was told on the tour of the stadium there are plans for expansion, taking the overall capacity over 100,000 - wow!
When visiting the stadium ...

Advantages: Standing on the Pitch looking up into the stands. A great value tour Disadvantages: Thats there was no game on the weekend we were there, although we did go and see Espanyol instead
...Friday, a visit to the Nou Camp. The main reason for our trip was to see Barcelona play someone, however this wasn’t possible as they were away that weekend. So instead we did the next best thing, The Nou Camp Stadium tour and visit to the Barcelona FC Museum. Of course I’m sure it comes as no surprise that on our first full day, having got drunk the night before, we went to do something related to Football.
Having decided that it wasn’t that far ...

Advantages: Amazing stadium, surprisingly cheap, great players to see, easy to get to Disadvantages: Can be slightly tepid if it's an unimportant match
If you like football - or even if you don't - you simply must go here if you happen to be in Barcelona.
Not only is it the biggest stadium in Europe at 120,000 capacity, but it also plays host to some of the finest players in the world. Not only that but you can get in for under a tenner if you get a seat right at the top - but bring your binoculars (seriously)!
The one thing I would advise is that you should go for a reasonably big match - ...

Advantages: A great football stadium with a fantastic museum. Disadvantages: A bit far out but easly reached in a bus or car.
Nou Camp, Barcelona... possibly the most famous football stadium in Europe.
This football stadium was so huge I could not get over it. I have been to many British stands and they are jumpers for goalposts compared to this amazing pitch. It has a 120,000 capacity and hosts some of the most famous players such as Figo, and Ronaldo and the most famous games in the world.
I am not a football fan in honesty and wet there as it was just one of the sights ...

Advantages: Get to go in almost evert part of the stadium. Disadvantages: Highly prices foo and drinks.
I have recently traveled to Barcalona and this was the highlight of my trip.
The football stadium has main transport links through a number of tourism buses, including the citysightseeing bus (blue route). Also there are transport links through the underground metro and tram.
The tour is roughly around 17 euros each for an adult. The tour lets you go around the main features pf the stadium. You get to experiance the guest changing rooms where ...

As someone who doesn't have any interest in football, the tour is well worth a visit. It's very interesting to see how a building like this functions for the players, the spectators and the press. The museum is interesting even as a social history. If you really don't want to go but your friends/family do, there's a cafe on site to pass the time.

Advantages: Atmosphere, good for all not just football fans Disadvantages: none
...was my visit to the Nou Camp. This is where Barcelona FC play their football matches, it is the biggest stadium in Europe and is absolutely amazing.
I think the Nou Camp stadium is much more entertaining if you go to see an actual game. Although for you true football fans I suppose you might enjoy a tour of the stadium. I didn't see a Barca game but rather two different exposition games, Brazil vs. Catalunya, and another time Argentina vs, Catalunya, ...
