Mes Que Un Club Review with images

AdvantagesExcellent tour

Disadvantagesnone found

"...Barcelona Football Club (official name Nou Estadi del Futbol Club Barcelona). I wasn’t so keen and hoped that we might give it a miss but the Barcelona Sight Seeing bus that we were on stopped right outside Camp Nou and nearly everyone got off to have a look so I couldn’t be that mean and not let the hubby be the only man on the bus who wasn’t allowed off! Of course, having got off the bus I really didn’t stand a chance in arguing against going inside, ..." Read review

DisadvantagesNone

"...we were going to visit Nou Camp, the stadium of the world class team Barcelona. e were not only going to have a tour of the stadium, but also watching a live match against Osasuna. The great thing was I was from a boys school and everyone absolutely loved football! Here's a few facts about the stadium: Official Name: Nou Estadi del Futbol Club Barcelona Inauguration: 24 September 1956 First match: FC Barcelona-Warsaw selection 4-2 Renovations: ..." Read review

BS Cinco - The Pride of Catalonia

AdvantagesImpressive stadium and accompanying museum

DisadvantagesNot allowed onto pitch!

"...trumps 99.99% of the time. "El Nou Estadi del Futbol Club Barcelona", affectionately known by the Catalan nickname of "Camp Nou", is the current home of FC Barcelona. The venue for numerous glorious footballing moments since its inauguration in 1957, the famous stadium undoubtedly contains the most revered blades of grass in Catalonia, and a comprehensive list of the sporting greats who have graced it would be very long indeed. The fiery Catalan ..." Read review

Barca Barca Barca....gooooal! Review with images

AdvantagesExcellent views, amazing football

Disadvantagespoor views form the 4th tier

"...Road (that is THE greatest!)…..The Nou Cap. Technically called "El Nou Estadi del Futbol Club Barcelona", it is the home of European Champions FC Barcelona. I was lucky enough to have a tour of the stadium, and see their first game as defending champions against Levski Sofia…the score was 5-0…. *** The stadium *** FC Barcelona was founded in the late 19th century, and occupied several stadia around the city before moving to the Nou Camp in September ..." Visit the Nou Camp!

Advantagesgreat value for money and loads to see

Disadvantagesnone really

"...rude not to visit the Nou Camp, home of Barcelona FC of the spanish football league. It is the largest stadium in Europe with a capacity of 98,772 - almost 10,000 more seats than the newly opened wembley stadium which cost Ł778million to build! It seems they're not satisfied with the current capacity as I was told on the tour of the stadium there are plans for expansion, taking the overall capacity over 100,000 - wow! When visiting the stadium ..." Read review

Fancy A Tour Of The Camp Review with images

AdvantagesStanding on the Pitch looking up into the stands. A great value tour

DisadvantagesThats there was no game on the weekend we were there, although we did go and see Espanyol instead

"...Friday, a visit to the Nou Camp. The main reason for our trip was to see Barcelona play someone, however this wasn’t possible as they were away that weekend. So instead we did the next best thing, The Nou Camp Stadium tour and visit to the Barcelona FC Museum. Of course I’m sure it comes as no surprise that on our first full day, having got drunk the night before, we went to do something related to Football. Having decided that it wasn’t that far ..." No Messiing about here! Review with images

AdvantagesFab city, fab stadium...

DisadvantagesThey keep beating United

"...the throng heading for the Nou Camp, whether we liked it or not, sucked up in the cheering mass of drums beats and laughter.. My gorgeous girlfriend had become perfect and surprised me with two tickets to watch her team, and if we are honest, the most romantic team in the world. Not only that but Maradona was on the bench for Sevilla and we had very good tickets. Guys, it just doesn't get better than that although we did have to eat pitios, a bird ..." Read review

Once in a liftime

AdvantagesAmazing stadium, surprisingly cheap, great players to see, easy to get to

DisadvantagesCan be slightly tepid if it's an unimportant match

"If you like football - or even if you don't - you simply must go here if you happen to be in Barcelona. Not only is it the biggest stadium in Europe at 120,000 capacity, but it also plays host to some of the finest players in the world. Not only that but you can get in for under a tenner if you get a seat right at the top - but bring your binoculars (seriously)! The one thing I would advise is that you should go for a reasonably big match - ..." Read review

100,000 people can't be wrong!

AdvantagesOne of the best atmospheres and the only place to see Barca at their best!

DisadvantagesVery expensive for big matches, you have to travel to Barcelona to go there (duh!)

"Camp Nou, or The Nou Camp as it can be called, was constructed in 1957 and had always been the home of FC Barcelona. It can seat up to 99,354, making it, by far and away, the biggest stadium in Europe and the 14th biggest in the world by capacity. Old Trafford, San Siro and Wembley can only hold 76,212, 80,074 and 90,000 respectively. Its official name was Estadi del FC Barcelona (FC Barcelona Stadium in English) until 2000, when the club members ..." Read review

The biggest football stadium i have ever seen

AdvantagesA great football stadium with a fantastic museum.

DisadvantagesA bit far out but easly reached in a bus or car.

"Nou Camp, Barcelona... possibly the most famous football stadium in Europe. This football stadium was so huge I could not get over it. I have been to many British stands and they are jumpers for goalposts compared to this amazing pitch. It has a 120,000 capacity and hosts some of the most famous players such as Figo, and Ronaldo and the most famous games in the world. I am not a football fan in honesty and wet there as it was just one of the sights ..." Read review

Home of Barcelona FC

AdvantagesWorld famous, good museum

DisadvantagesExpensive, expensive, expensive!

"...C. Barcelona - the Camp Nou stadium. It's easy to get to by metro and from the station you take a short walk to the stadium that is very reminiscent of Wembley Way. It is exciting to visit a stadium that has so much history and you can almost feel the passion as you approach. There is a small complex around the 98,000-seater stadium that offers a cafe, training school and museum. The cafe is a pretty dull affair selling bland food at very inflated ..." Read review

Barcelona F.C, Nou Camp - Tour

AdvantagesGet to go in almost evert part of the stadium.

DisadvantagesHighly prices foo and drinks.

"I have recently traveled to Barcalona and this was the highlight of my trip. The football stadium has main transport links through a number of tourism buses, including the citysightseeing bus (blue route). Also there are transport links through the underground metro and tram. The tour is roughly around 17 euros each for an adult. The tour lets you go around the main features pf the stadium. You get to experiance the guest changing rooms where ..." Read review

Quick review of Nou Camp - Barcelona F.C., Barcelona

"As someone who doesn't have any interest in football, the tour is well worth a visit. It's very interesting to see how a building like this functions for the players, the spectators and the press. The museum is interesting even as a social history. If you really don't want to go but your friends/family do, there's a cafe on site to pass the time.

Nou Camp -Barca

AdvantagesAtmosphere, good for all not just football fans

Disadvantagesnone

"...was my visit to the Nou Camp. This is where Barcelona FC play their football matches, it is the biggest stadium in Europe and is absolutely amazing. I think the Nou Camp stadium is much more entertaining if you go to see an actual game. Although for you true football fans I suppose you might enjoy a tour of the stadium. I didn't see a Barca game but rather two different exposition games, Brazil vs. Catalunya, and another time Argentina vs, Catalunya, ..." Read review
