Nice Night at Novotel Bristol Central

Advantages: Central
Disadvantages: Parking the car on site was extra

...to be a feature of Novotel bathrooms. There were nice white fluffy towels and hotel size shower gel, shampoo, soap and a shower cap included. Plenty of hot water and a decent shower over the bath. Well lit, plenty of mirrors and piped television from the room! Just inside the room was a unit with shelves and hanging space and also a mini fridge and kettle/hospitality tray. The contents of the fridge were very pricy to say the least ie Chunky Kit ...
...The breakfast was a typical Novotel one! A table is allocated to you and they bring you the hot drinks to the table so no queuing at machines here. Then it is buffet style including fruit juice, hot breakfast items like bacon, eggs, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, hash browns, continental items such as croissants, pastries, toast(make it at the machine), fruits , yoghurts and cheese. As much as you can eat! Very good indeed. The lunch and dinner menu ...

Highly recommended

Advantages: Very clean, good facilities, friendly staff, EXCELLENT food
Disadvantages: Car park exit tickets with time limit!

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The rooms were very clean and in great condition with all the usual extras available- mini bar, tea and coffee making faclities, complimentary shampoos etc., TV. The highlight of my stay at the hotel was the amazing breakfast....anything you could possibly want and no choosing between continental and full english- you could have it all! The hot breakfast included eggs (scrambled and fried), bacon ...
...fried bread, mushrooms, tomatoes and fresh toast, all cooked to perfection. Then there was a choice of pastries and croissants that you could heat up yourself on a little grill with a conveyer belt (!) and have with any jam or honey. THEN there was a choice of cereals, dried fruits and selection of yoghurts (Muller Fruit Corners included!) and finally a selection of fresh fruits (not tinned). And of course there was fresh coffee, tea and fruit juices. ...

Advantages: Very good value for money and central location
Disadvantages: car park fees should be included in stay

Having stayed at a number of hotels in Bristol, it was refreshing to have a very good experience to relate. The hotel is very new and pristine. The room was spacious and airy and had air conditioning. The room we had was situated at the rear of the hotel and was very peaceful. Mini-bar was very expensive, but useful if you want to use it for your own drinks! Bathroom was small but toiletries and towels were plentiful. Breakfast was very good although ...

Excellent Hotel

Advantages: Excellent room service, food quality, cheap parking, lovely room, no kids
Disadvantages: None as far as we were concerned

We needed a hotel for 2 nights whilst having surgery in Bristol. We did a lot of searching for price, comfort, food, few children etc before hand and looked at other peoples reviews. Decided on this one, excellent central location, very comfortable, clean room with settee area, attentive staff (Very friendly, helpful member of staff on front desk called Martin), room service and food excellent as well and reasonably priced. Had breakfasts in room ...
...Parking only £5 per night - best we found in Bristol. Booked via their own site as had very good deal on which was cancellable if necessary at no penalty - and same price as could get through last minute.com, late hotels etc. Well done Novotel, we will return. ...
