The Novotel Is in a great area litteraly one block from times square. the lobby is nice as is the bar area. rooms are spacious, clean, tidy and bathroom is also nice. The room has all the necessary amineties. The only fault with the hotel is that when someone across the hall from us ordered room service the tray stayed there for 2 days. Although the hotel is situated in one of the best locations in New York City (it is a couple of blocks away from the centre of Times Square), it lacks a little quality. The restaurant facilities are not up to much, especially breakfast-wise and the rooms are nothing special. Advantages: Great Location, Great Staff
Disadvantages: Not so great decor

I stayed at the Novotel in June/July last year. Upon arrival we were greated heartily by the doorman, who helped us with our bags to reception. You have to take a lift from the street level to reach the reception area which is very spacious and clean. The room was a little smaller than I had hoped, but we had an amazing view of times square which was definitly worth the extra supplement.
