Ocean Park, Hong Kong

We went to Hong Kong in January 2009. We were on our Honeymoon and spent a few days here before flying off to Malaysia. We tried to fit in as much as we could whilst there and one of the things we did was take a visit to Ocean Park. So how did we get there? Ocean Park is a fantastic theme park and zoo to visit in Hong Kong. On our week stay in Hong Kong we wanted to visit one of the theme parks and went for Ocean Park over Disneyland as we'd been to Disneyland Paris and fancied something with a little bit more Chinese culture in it. Whenever we are on holiday in Hong Kong, we are sure to visit Ocean Park. It costs about £16 for an adult (half price for child) but via a promotional offer we paid less than twelve quid for a ticket. The theme park is split into two parts, and these are connected by a cable car ride system. The Lowlands - which is where the main entrance is situated - is where the Giant Pandas can be seen. The only theme park that can be rival to the Disneyland is the Ocean Park. I still remember how excited I was on my first visit as a little girl with my parents. I went there a few more times for school trips and it has become part of my childhood memory. I enjoyed it every time I was there. It is a very education theme park, very suitable for families.
