Advantages: Good choice of food and some cheap combination meals. Disadvantages: Seemingly very unhappy staff.
Upon first entering the Odeon at Switch Island in Liverpool, it seemed just like any other average Odeon Cinema. And I was right. As in any other Odeon I have been in, the staff appeared mostly moody and bored, and none were over the age of around 20. Their unhappy, drawling voices, as they ask you to fork over your money, I can still hear! They do have a few good points however. In my experience they have always overloaded my box with popcorn, which ... ...good 'combo's' available though which can cut the costs of your overall visit. There is a Carte D'or ice cream stall in there as well as hotdogs, nachos and giant bags of crisps, chocolate and pick 'n' mix! Unless you have a car, it is tough to reach. Based on one side of a motorway, there IS a local bus stop but that is at least a 25 minute walk. ...

Advantages: situated next too bowling alley, macdonald's, the pub even bingo Disadvantages: expensive but no more than any other cinema.
ODEON SWITCH ISLAND
Well I seen the advertisements for the matrix 2 this year and was very impressed by what I saw, and very much wanted to go the cinema to see it but! I had not been too the cinema for four years because I hated the seats and to be quite honest watching films at home and listening to them through the stereo sounds much better and makes the film come alive. My brother on the other hand is a regular visitor to the cinema and says ... ...but I decided that the Odeon at switch island Liverpool was perfect for me and I could book online giving me a choice of showing times and seating type either standard or extra room which of course I went for the larger seat. Booking was done and the following Wednesday I went to the cinemas carrying the same card I booked the tickets with online, on first approach to the Odeon it looked very new inviting in I went first thing I noticed was how clean ...
