Olinda

Olinda is a magic city. Situated in the North-East of Brazil, this still medium-size village is full of remains of its glorious colonial past. The best time to go there is during Carnival. It is virtually impossible to find accommodation during this period unless you book months in advance or know someone of the locals. The Carnival is crazy. 5 days of revellery, and, differently from other cities in Brazil, there are not too many people from the favelas around and you feel really safe, plus a lot of local babes scantly dressed and in the mood for good fun, not like here in London!!
