Review of Orchard Rd (Singapore) by
zorbay
Advantages: Convenient.lots of hotels,restaurants,shopping complexes.
Disadvantages: Expensive
Orchard Road,I would guess, is probably the best known road in Singapore, certainly among tourists who come to the Island republic from all parts of the world.
This is the Oxford Street or the Champs d'Elysee of this small city state and like the latter it is wide boulevard, very clean and magnificently maintained. It is full of smart hotels, one stop shopping complexes,up market eateries and US style fast food joints.
It is a very busy street ...

Erzulie
Advantages: Feels like home
Disadvantages: More expensive

2. Topshop markets itself as ...

The more popular places along Orchard Road are Takashimaya, Paragon, Tang's, Far East and a few smaller shopping malls.
Shopping along Orchard Road is expensive. There are hardly any bargains to be found. Food from foodcourts is relatively ...
