...of the best deals in Orlando for non drivers, just has to be the I-Ride Tram-Bus ( looks like a tram but is actually a bus ) For under 10 USD you can take unlimited rides all week (7 days) along the whole tourist length of International Drive in Orlando, thats from the Bletz Factory outlet ( Shoppign Mall) at the top of Internationnal Drive to Seaworld at the opposite end ( about 7 miles)
These bus/trams run every 15 mins from 0700 to 2300 7 days ... ...and the most of the Orlando theme parks also charge extra for parking, so on top of your motoring costs you are paying for the privalege of having you car parked in a car park while you enjoy the day at a theme park...a bit sensles really unless there are a few of you in the car.... So if you intend to visit Orlando, stay in a hotel on or just off International Drive, I can assure you its much cheaper to forget hiring a car unless you are in Kissimee ...

...what you want. Orlando is the theme park capital of the world. Firstly thereare the Disney parks, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Blizzard Beach, Animal Kingdom,Typhoon Lagoon, River Country etc. You can spend at least a day at each park, two or three at the bigger ones. You can book fly drive packages which enable you to pick up the hire car at the airport and all you need to do in advance is book your first nights stay. It is a really friendly place, the service and price in the restaurants is astonishingly good and virtuallt everywhere offers good value for money. If you are happy to go out of season then there ...

...October 1971, the whole of Orlando has been cashing in on its success and will do for many more years to come. Back when Disney World first started International Drive was nothing but a freeway with a few gas stations and fast food restaurants on it. Three cinemas (of which one is 3D), two factory outlet malls, as many different types of restaurants as anyone could want, too many ... ...off Mickey Mouse merchandise on Disney’s own doorstep defies imagination.
However, if you travel just a further 30 miles up the intertwining freeways you’ll find alligator farms nature reserves and a whole host of swamps to amerce yourself into Florida’s wildlife. Not many people associate Florida with these types of attractions, especially in more recent years, but they are here and they are worth looking.
The thing that immediately grabbed our ...

Easiest these days is the internet - you can get complete packages online.

Teletext of course - not something I would use again.

...the rest of my family, Orlando Florida is the best place to have a holiday ever! There is something to do for everyone! Whether its putting Nan and Granddad on the beach all day whilst you charge around the theme parks, or putting the children in a theme park all day whilst you go and shop. With over 4 theme parks and two water parks in the Walt Disney Complex alone, there is no chance of you ... ...to do whilst your in Orlando would depend upon to type of transport you would consider. But if you wanted to explore orlando in depth, then hire a car. Petrol is cheap and you are sent out on a full tank anyway so dont worry about this.

...my mum to the Delta Orlando Hotel on Mayor Blvd, just off International Drive. This hotel complex is rated as a 2 star but it's of a really high standard with all the modern conveniences you would want in a hotel. We went to Orladough to see Mickey mouse but before we got there we had to take an aeroplane. Orlando is the place to be for fun for all ages. I went there in April 2000 with my 5 year old and I can't wait to go back. There's so much to do and not enough time to do it all. Orlando is a great place to visit either as a couple or as a family given the attractions around.
I have been 8 times now and vote it as one of my best places to visit in the states.

I was in Orlando last month (June/July) on honeymoon and did the whole 'Disney thing'. My advice would be to get a 5 day park hopper ticket cheap on the internet before you go. Went to Orlando in Florida for the first time ever on 20th August until 4th September 2002, just with my uncle and my auntie. MY first time in the USA. I was 16-17 years old at the time!
